This is my first flatscreen, and it was a great price ($650). It's a fantastic hdtv with amazing image quality, and I'm totally thrilled about it. The super-saturated colors really pop and the clarity is crisp (you ought to have an HD cable/satellite connection and a blu-ray player to get the optimal effect, but I'm sure you knew that!). Not sure if the extra yellow pixel is all Sharp makes it out to be, but I don't think it's hurting!

I like that the LED technology means low energy usage, and I do think it improves the picture quality and brightness over standard LCD sets, as well as providing deep blacks, as well as shaving down the weight of the tv and its thinness. I'm a petite chick about 100 lbs. and had no trouble picking it up and moving it around- so light! Made it much easier when I installed it on a wall-mount. An unexpected bonus is the matte screen- no annoying mirror-like reflections like other sets with glossy screens.

Setting up the tv and connecting to the internet was quick and easy; learning all the Menu options and settings (for customizing your preferences) can take a while to read and understand. The remote buttons and on-screen controlling are very responsive, but I agree with another reviewer that the Menu button is too close to the navigation buttons; I often press it accidentally. The Menu options are extensive and give you a high degree of control and adjustability for picture, audio, and other settings. I highly recommend Smart tv's over 'dumb' ones. The Apps are fairly decent in selection. No opinion on streaming Netflix or movies as I don't use those features. I also specifically bought this set because it has built-in Wi-Fi; why would you want to buy a separate adapter? Also, I used the free shipping option and still got it within four days of the order (well, I live in California)! Sweet!

I purchased this TV to replace my old 42" Vizio LCD i bought about 6 years ago. I did a lot of research online and decided it was either a sony or a samsung based off recommendations from friends and online. I went to my local electronics store to see some of the TVs in action. While there I saw last years model of this TV. While very nice i have an all black metal stand for my tv, so i though the thick silver bezel would stand out. I talked to an associate and they told me about the new 2011 model. Once i saw it i knew it was the TV i wanted. I did some shopping around and found Amazon had the best price overall. i was a bit skeptical about making such a large purchase and ordering online.

I have heard some complaints about the companies used to ship the TVs. I have to say i had a good experience. The delivery was made in the first hour of my delivery appointment window. The box of the tv was a little damaged in the bottom corner but nothing to worry about.my TV was brought inside and I inspected it and wow is this thing a work of art. even the delivery guys were impressed, they hadn't seen the new model yet. The tv was a little cold from being stored in the warehouse and on the truck so i assembled everything and hooked up all my extras (home theater, xbox 360, ps3, cable box etc) but i didn't plug the power in for about 2 hours to let the TV warm up and avoid damage to it. Once i turned it on i was greeted with an easy and simple to follow setup of the tv and wireless network.
I have read one poor review of this tv stating the led backlight was visible fromt the edges and i have to disagree. i cannot see the backlight source at all. this is by far the best looking tv on the market. I do however wish it had full array led backlighting rather than the dynamic edge.

my only complaint (if you can even call it that) is the remote. it is a bit chunky because of the full qwerty on the back and i havent been able to get the qwerty side to sync with my tv yet it keeps saying failure.. i would have liked to see the touch screen remote that was included with the 9000 series before. however on the grand scale this is minor. I have only had this tv for a short time but i would highly recommend this tv if it is in your budget.

With beautiful picture, 3D, plenty of HDMI slots, USB, WIFI and the samsung SmartTV this is a great option for someone in the market for a high end LED-LCD

Great TV at an affordable price. I bought the Sam's Club $ 598. I bought it for movies and television programs in your garden because it does not require cable television programs and movies today. I also use it as a monitor, the Mac USB port is working yet, but after a few observations, which will continue until the end of the firmware update. As with all TVs. This is the best I ever had. Netflix, Vudu, Amazon VOD works without problems. It is a Bluetooth headset and remote control.

I do not understand do not understand other reviewers, such as Netflix. It works very well with this TV, but you must subscribe to Netflix, to use it. The current definition movies, and Vudu otherwise pay for each movie. Again, you must register a credit card to use it.

My Sony Wega beaten a couple of weeks, so when it came to me a new TV for the latest TV technologies have interested me. LED LCD is the answer I always give sales representatives and friends. If you look (and / or already owned) Sony SXRD, Sony LCD, Plasma TV Samsung DLP, and I agree that the Samsung LED LCD have the best PQ I have ever seen is. The only problem is price. It's part of what makes this product interesting.

Although the Vizio products on the floor of their pricing, not cheap, poor quality can be confused, this TV is perfect. Initial setup is easy and fast to end. Wireless works well because I was able to quickly Netflix without complications and significantly greater than the actual ping on the Xbox 360 was about forty others play: Pandora, Rhapsody, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo Fantasy Football, etc. So if you want to be "connected" with this TV's driveway.
