VIZIO E320VA 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Black

VIZIO’s E320VA 32-Inch LCD HDTV delivers superior picture and audio quality at an amazing value. Includes SRS TruVolume and SRS TruSurround HD audio for advanced virtual surround sound and four HDMI ports to connect up to four HDMI devices to your TV. Exceeds Energy Star 4.0 guidelines to reduce energy consumption.
I think that the Vizio folks should have made the default to OFF on the SRS TruVolume. If they had I think several of the owners would not be experiencing the issues with the sound. I set mine up, read the reviews, turned OFF the SRS TruVolume feature and now the sound is fine.
I'm not sure how high the volume will go. I've got mine on "2" and it is plenty loud and very clear.

I purchased this to use with my new Xbox 360 with Kinect. I'm replacing a 19" Sanyo that was purchased in 1989 by my older brother. So, maybe my expectations are not very high...for $299 I'm pleased and it is a tremendous step up from what I had.

iSymphony LC24iF56 24-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV, Black

Ideal not just for home theater applications but for use in dorm rooms, bedrooms, home offices, or anywhere else you need a high-definition display at a great value, the iSymphony LC24iF56 is a versatile choice that offers a rich, vivid picture. There are HDMI, composite, component, and VGA inputs as well as an integrated NTSC/ATSC tuner, making it suitable for watching your favorite movies and HD over-the-air broadcasts, or connecting to your PC or favorite gaming console.
The Good: The price is a cash saver for an 24" LCD: most 24" LCD tvs range for $270-$350 plus tax at stores. Setup was really easy. Great size for a small bedroom at 24" and the design is elite with the clear glass-like on the bottom. Movies and video games look energetic and sharp. Sound is clear and the volume does get loud when turned up. The remote has a channel list (which many remotes do not have), so it's useful to know what channels proceeds and trails by.

The Bad: Although the LCD tv's size is good, the resolution is not so great. Certain channels tend to fuzz or have small ridges along the screen. The remote is sensitive: when I am on the menu and move the cursor by using the arrows on the remote, it will change the channel.

The Ugly: The start up and load time are absolutely terrible. The iSymphony takes a longer time for the picture to appear on the screen than other tvs. When changing channels, the picture lags about 8 secs before any images load. It's pretty annoying since my old RCA tv loaded the images within 2 seconds when the channels changed. Quite disappointing from the iSymphony's LCD tv.

Overall, the television is promising and reliable for now. Even though the resolution isn't perfect, it's exceptional for its low cost and non-popularity. The sound performs at its greatest and does not leave any noise. What needs major improvement is the start up and load time for channels because I sometimes feel that the tv will explode from the amount of lag. I recommend this iSymphony 24" LCD tv for the low income and minimum budgeteers.

LG 42LD520 42-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV

Great for sports and fast action, the 42-inch LG 42LD520 LCD HDTV offers 1080p Full HD resolution for crystal-clear detail, TruMotion 120Hz technology for virtually no motion blur, and a super-quick response time of 2.4ms (milliseconds). Other features include an amazing 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for more stunning colors and deeper blacks, capability to play MP3 audio files and JPEG photo slideshows from a USB drive, stereo speakers with 20 watts of power and Dolby Digital decoding, and three HDMI inputs.
I never really was impressed by any of the HD TV's I had seen in stores, friends' houses, ect. I had decided I would never buy one until I had to. While that time came when I moved into a new (but very old) house and needed a new TV. After doing a lot of research I found Amazon had this one on a special financing deal plus it seemed like a decent price. I made the jump. And boy am I ever glad I did. The picture on this TV is great. When the very courteous delivery driver brought it into the house I hooked it up and it looked great right out of the box. Didn't have to do any adjusting. Old shows, new shows, sports, they all look great. My kids will be over for the holidays and we'll see how it looks for video gaming. I would recommend this TV without hesitation.

Toshiba 55WX800 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz Cinema Series 3D LED TV, Black

The WX800 Cinema Series 3DTV combines elegant design, 3D-ready LED picture quality, and a wide array of available Internet content to create a new dimension in quality and style. Get full 1080p high-definition video, built-in wi-fi and networking abilities, wide media support, and plenty more with this 55-inch 3DTV from Toshiba.
I ordered this TV and the accompanying Blu-ray player and 3D glasses, primarily because it seemed to have all the bells and whistles, and I had such good experience with my "old" Toshiba 46HL196. After hanging it on the wall and hooking up to my TiVo (cable), DirecTV (satellite), The 3D Blu-ray player, my PC, my bluetooth audio to my hearing aids, and my network bridge, I began the setup. Everything went so well that I thought I had missed something. The TV recognized the network instantly, the 3D channels on DirecTV were in beautiful 3D, the Blu-ray 3D movie "Clash of the Titans" played as advertised, the PC hookup (HDMI)automatically fixed the overscan problem I'd had with the old TV, and as a bonus, the TV downloaded a software update when I turned it on the next morning.

Toshiba 32C100U 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV (Black Gloss)

Attractively designed and offering 720p high-definition viewing, the feature-packed, affordable 32-inch Toshiba 32C100U LCD HDTV (31.5-inch diagonal screen size) provides an array of entertainment options that's great for multiple rooms in your home.
This has 2 HDMI inputs, not 3 as stated in the Technical Details section. I have been using this TV for just over 3 months (average 6 hours daily) and it has worked nicely. The picture quality is very good and the side viewing angle is very large. The input signals used for viewing DVD movies have been Standard Definition and High Definition, and both have been really satisfactory. The TV also performs well as a computer monitor, with absolutely no 'ghosting' of images when playing games, even without using the Gaming Mode function. The sound is adequate for a small room or a quiet environment. Out of the box, no adjustments to picture settings was needed for viewing DVD movies. There are presets available for Sports, Movies, PC etc. The TV has advanced features for picture adjustments which are really great, as they give the user lots of choices apart from the presets. All in all, this TV is worth the price.

Panasonic TC-P58S2 58-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV

Building on its award-winning 2009 Plasma line, Panasonic's 58-inch VIERA TC-P58S2 Plasma HDTV features a new panel with NeoPDP technologies that provide the best balance of black and white under brighter environments while also offering higher energy efficiency. This S2 series model provides 1080p resolution, full-time 1080 TV lines of moving picture resolution, and 600Hz Sub-field Drive for superb motion clarity.
Nice, crisp 1080 picture, plenty of image adjustment settings for the everyday consumer, and what a price for a 58" plasma from a brand that does it best. I also had a great experience with the the delivery company that was setup to deliver this set considering I paid nothing for shipping. They setup a 4 hr window with me a few days in advance and arrived on time. The two people also assisted me in getting this beast into my garage :) I love Amazon's ability to come through with these large dollar purchases. Don't waste your time (or the risk associated with) shopping any other online etailer - they can't beat the price or piece of mind Amazon provides.

Samsung LN32C350 32-Inch 720p 60 Hz LCD HDTV (Black)

The Samsung LCD 350 HDTV takes your viewing experience to a whole new realm with a Wide Color Enhancer that delivers the entire spectrum of color and luminance for rich, saturated images and intense detail. Not to mention a handy Connect- Share input that enables you to connect a thumb drive or digital camera quickly and easily, and a user-friendly interface that allows you to access videos, a music playlist and pictures via remote. It’s entertainment made easy. Add to that 2 HDMI inputs, and you’re able to connect to your home theater. Samsung connects your world in every way.
I upgraded my bedroom tv to this Samsung HDTV. The picture and quality of a Samsung HDTV is outstanding. I had another brand of HDTV in there first, but with the new HD Receiver I purchased, I couldn't get a picture on it. I moved it to another room and with the Samsung I had no problem at all. I now have 3 Samsung LCD HDTV sets in my house, Living Room 52", bedroom 32" and 23" in dressing room. I couldn't be happier with my purchases of Samsung HDTV TV Sets.
Make the move to the smoothest LCD action ever. Samsung's LN32C350 LCD HDTV offers incredible color and rich clarity, all on a 32-inch screen. Add the power of Samsung's Wide Color Enhancer, for a picture that optimizes a given color's hue, resulting in more natural rendering of colors and lifelike action. Samsung HDTVs are also ENERGY STAR compliant, helping the environment by using less energy while saving you money.

Very pleased with the Vizio SV470M HDTV I got on Cyber Monday for $599, free shipping, no tax. Can't beat this deal. The picture is great, better than my Sony HDTV. The sound is fine. Easy to set up. Initially I had a little problem with some channels only getting pictures but no sound If I use HDMI to connect my TV with Set-Top-Box. No problem with Component or Composite connections. I finally got it fixed by changing the sound output of the Set-Top-Box from Auto to L-PCM. How to do this is a little tricky. You need to google 'Vizio No Sound' to find out how to do it with your particular Set-Top-Box. Overall, I am very pleased.

I have owned this TV set for almost a month. I know there are lots of expert reviews, but from my point of view (an average every day user), picture quality is superb. I have this TV on my living room with a panasonic blueray and directv. Directv HD looks really great, sharp colors and blacks on this tv are far better than LCDs. Sound is not really that good, I have this TV connected to a panasonic sound bar and now sound is excellent without running wires all over my living room.

A VGA port is also provided so that you can use the TV as a computer monitor.

My wife and I were pretty excited to pick up this TV on Black Friday for 198.00. The price alone you can't beat it. When it was delivered, I was very pleased. I was worried at first since a few of the reviews stated problems installing the stand. I didn't have any problem but I could see where there might be some confusion. When I was installing the stand it appeared the screws went right in without nothing to screw it to. Then I took my screw driver and was able to tighten the stand to the TV without problems. I had the TV out of the boxed and hooked up in less than 10 minutes. Very pleased with the picture. The gentlemen that list the Comcast remote code...Thanks it worked and saved me time looking for it.

OK...although I have had this only about one hour now, I had to write because I know you are out there sweating about this cheap purchase; I was too! I'm impressed so far! It's just a guest bedroom TV so all I have going to it is plain 'ol digital cable from "the wall", but all is well. My monopoly cable company's universal remote even works with a little code searching. My only complaint so far is that it is very wobbly front to back if using the stand. It still gets 5 stars due to the price. I will update if the thing takes a turn on me. Enjoy!

Panasonic TC-L22X2 22-Inch 720p LCD HDTV with iPod Dock

Offering excellent picture performance, Panasonic's 22-inch VIERA TC-L22X2 LCD HDTV provides 720p high-definition imagery and includes a Universal Dock for Apple iPod, which enables you to control and play music and video directly from your iPod or iPhone through your VIERA HDTV. This X2 series model also features 24P Playback function for superb imagery from 24-frame movies on DVD and Blu-ray Disc, Game Mode for faster image response while playing immersive 3D games and a 15,000:1 contrast ratio.
Mention LCD TVs and most consumers are not very likely to think of the Panasonic brand. You'll here the usual casual mention of household brands like Sony, Samsung and occasionally Sharp. This is a shame. Maybe even a sin. Although I'll be the first to admit that these household brands are capable of producing good products, the bulk of their current products are actually very average performers yet they sell like hotcakes due to effective marketing and consumers buying out of brand loyalty.

This tv is great! It is plenty big for a bedroom, and very crisp. The picture is perfect, the only flaw is the sound. The speakers in it could be a little better, but they are still not terrible. Overall, this tv was easily worth the cost. Vizio is doing something right and they keep me with them, this is my 3rd Vizio tv and they are all great. I thought this was an excellent purchase. The Picture is crisp, the sound is good. I haven't experience any ghosting or remote issues. For the money this is an excellent buy.

Enjoy the ultimate viewing experience with the TCL 32-Inch 720p 60-Hz LCD HDTV. This LCD television offers ample HD connections, as well as high-definition picture quality with incredible contrast and vibrancy. Whether you're hosting movie night, cheering on a favorite team, or sharing your latest vacation photos, you'll love how this high-definition LCD television brings your media to life.
Bought this for my college dorm this year and it works great! The picture is just as good as my samsung at home! My xbox 360 in HD looks amazing in 720p, you won't be able to tell the difference between 1080p at 32 inches. It's easy to set up right out of the box and the best thing is that it comes with a 2 YEAR WARRANTY! Overall for 320 dollars it provides great value! I don't think you'll find a new 32 inch TV cheaper anywhere else. Give it a chance!
love that, unlike the plasma, the lamp in my room casts no reflection on the screen. That's been a downside to the plasma, but with the LCD, it's a non-issue. In addition, it shows better in bright daylight than the plasma.

Ideal for both the home and office with its piano black finish, the VX2250wm-LED is an elegant fit to any décor. Should you choose to mount the display, it can be mounted on a VESA compliant stand or wall mount bracket.
beatiful monitor. the led makes it very thin and light, and the picture very vivid. if i had to guess how much this monitor was just by looking at it, i would be guessing over $200, but for only $170, this is a steal of a monitor.
the only semi-con is the integrated speakers. if you are into full bodied sound, you shouldn't expect to rely on these for your purposes. however, i chose not to deduct for this bc they didn't even need to include speakers with the monitor to make it a good deal. and for me, the speakers are gonna work just fine since i have multiple tvs and a soundbar, i dont need to use the monitor for anything that needs to be blasted at a high volume.

Panasonic VIERA TC-P50G25 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV

Building on its award-winning 2009 Plasma line, Panasonic's 50-inch VIERA TC-P50G25 Plasma HDTV features a new panel with NeoPDP technologies that provide the best balance of black and white under brighter environments while also offering higher energy efficiency. The new NeoPDP Plasma panel also further reduces reflections and creates sharper pictures with higher contrast in brighter environments. This G25 series model provides 1080p resolution, full-time 1080 TV lines of moving picture resolution, and 600Hz Sub-field Drive for superb motion clarity.
This pannasonic G25 is amazing. Clear, Crisp Picture. Colors are amazing, unlike an LCD. You never would know the difference unless you saw a plasma. Unfortunatly plasmas got a bad rap years ago and people shy away from them. This model (as do others including samsung) have built in image retention elimination devices. Follow the break in for the first 100 hours and you have nothing to worry about. The sound levels arent bad, you probably have a surround system anyways so it dont matter. This picture gets better and better as it breaks in. All store demos are pretty crappy and usually the plasmas are off to the side. If stores used a good setup and dialed in the sets its unbelievable how many they would sell, but most people drift to the big bright LCD or LED. This tv is bright and colors are unmatched. Hockey games and fast paced sports are crap on lcd, but on plasma when the hockey players stop, you can see every sliver of ice fly through the air. Plasmas are less money and better picture the an lcd, why buy an lcd? I looked at the samsung, however they have a realllly bad rep for buzzing. Get it, dial in your settings and you too will be blown away.

Samsung LN46C630 46-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV (Black)

The Samsung LCD C630 features 1080p picture quality that’s so lifelike, you have to see it to believe it. A 120,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio enhances the brilliant picture with vibrant whites and deep blacks. And if action is your passion, you’ll never miss a piece of it with Samsung Auto Motion Plus 120Hz. It virtually eliminates blur so nearly every scene is filled with clarity. Take all of that and add our unique Touch of Color design which adds a hint of beautiful color to the bezel, and you have one truly remarkable HDTV.

Iv owned this TV for a little over 3 months and I am very happy with it. The price with no tax and free shipping is really good. The shipping service was fine, but they got it in on Thursday and I didn't get it till Monday. Knowing that the TV was 20 minutes away but had to wait 3 days was aggravating. I have SD so it doesn't look great, but you get use to it and it looks normal. Cartoons look better in SD than they did on my tube TV. When you go to the free HD channels and go back to SD, it looks really bad. Then you get use to SD again. Audio will be fine if you aren't really picky about it. Getting surround sound would make it better. I use it for my 360, PS3 and Netflix, they all look great on it. I would recommend it for someone looking for a 46. The remote is a bit big, real big buttons. The box and TV are not that heavy, but having someone help put the TV on the stand would be useful.

Panasonic TC-L32X2 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV with iPod Dock

Offering excellent picture performance, Panasonic's 32-inch VIERA TC-L32X2 LCD HDTV provides 720p high-definition imagery and includes a Universal Dock for Apple iPod, which enables you to control and play music and video directly from your iPod or iPhone through your VIERA HDTV. This X2 series model also features 24P Playback function for superb imagery from 24-frame movies on DVD and Blu-ray Disc, Game Mode for faster image response while playing immersive 3D games, a 20,000:1 contrast ratio, and an improved panel with In Plane Switching (IPS) for an ultra-wide viewing angle and higher moving picture resolution that results in clear, bright images.

I absolutely love this televison. At such a low price I did not expect too much but it arrived within only two days (that's with the free shipping too!) and was amazing! The only complaints I have are that the base collects dust very easily, and also when assembling make sure you have a very long thin screwdriver or else it'll be quite a battle putting this thing together. Other than that, I love this tv and set up was a breeze!

Samsung PN42C450 42-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV (Black)

The new PN42C450 PDP flat panel HDTV by Samsung offers great value and features smartly wrapped in an attractive and accented "piano key black" cabinet. Add 600 Hz subfield motion technology, 3 advanced HDMI inputs that feature our Anynet+ (CEC standard) technology making system control of your DVD or Blu-ray Disc player a one-touch operation. New for 2010, all of Samsung's plasmas feature our new E3-panel single filter design that delivers improved performance, meets the new ENERGY STAR power consumption specifications,

We recently found ourselves in a spot where we needed to find a replacement for a bedroom television. So the hunt was on for a TV to replace a 32" 'old style' direct-view unit that would see about 8-10 hours of use per week. The replacement would be placed in the corner of our 13' x 18' master bedroom (as was the old TV), and be connected only to a 'cable ready' connection, and a DVD player. As our old DVD player (a PlayStation 2) had been giving us issues, I factored it's replacement into my decision also.
I convinced my wife that this was the tv i wanted(she was buying a tv for me)
Looked at alot of tvs and and decided on this one.
i didnt buy online but got it for the same price
first of all it looks better in my home than it did in the store.
and i dare to say that the colors and clarity is better than my brothers 1081p from the same company.

Toshiba 55UX600U 55-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV with Net TV (Black Gloss)

Enjoy a stunning picture bursting with color and clarity as well as a wide variety of on-demand entertainment with the 55-inch Toshiba 55UX600U HDTV with LED backlighting (54.6-inch diagonal screen size), which features a 1080p Full HD resolution. The stunning 3M:1 dynamic contrast ratio LED backlighting produces a clearer, crisper image and is supported by Toshiba's CrystalCoat high contrast screen coating and AutoView ambient room light analyzer.

This tv has a great picture and lots of good features. Picture has many user settings for fine-tuning and calibrating (expert modes). Apps like vudu, etc are fast and helpful. Thin profile and lightweight are nice attractions.
Couple of my concerns before viewing were the 120hz and the glossy screen (glare). I've watched football, baseball, basketball and haven't noticed any blurring at all. The screen does have some reflection but once the set is on you cannot see it at all. Picture is very bright and dynamic. Incredible blacks for an edge-lit. This picture and price would rival or beat any plasma or samsung.
Also very energy efficient. Great tv.

LG 42LD450 42-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LCD HDTV

A great way to get into high-definition entertainment, the affordable 42-inch LG 42LD450 LCD HDTV offers 1080p Full HD resolution for crystal-clear detail, multiple AV Modes to optimize the picture depending on what you're watching (Cinema, Sports, or Games), and an amazing 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for more stunning colors and deeper blacks.

We purchased this TV for our study, a small dark room specifically meant for watching movies and playing video games.
We sort of knew what to expect because we had a 42" LG in our main area already, but it was an earlier model. Still, we were happy with the first one, and after some exhaustive research, chose to buy the newer model.
We also chose the 60hz version because the TV's main function was to be for videogames and film. The jury is still a little out on the whole 120hz issue (there are always conflicting reviews and articles about whether or not it produces undesirable effects on either format, but I suspect that it does) and we would prefer to watch films as they were meant to be seen (with a persistence-of-vision effect on the eye at a refresh-rate mismatch) and play games without possible ghosting effects. If our intention was to watch hi-def or digital television, especially sports channels, we might have gone another route.

I've had this TV for about a month now and it has not disappointed! It is pretty easy to use/figure out, and it didn't take much effort to set up. Great picture quality! What a great price for a name brand TV!
